Somewhat provocative thinking. Put the telescope down, let’s stop looking at the sky and wonder which eclipse caused this and that in our lives.
Grab a microscope. The human body. Each cell is a separate ”being”. A cell of the eye has no idea that somewhere there is a whole eye, let alone other cells that form for example the liver. Yet they are part of a whole, of the mechanism that is a human body. What about a man? We are a part of a mechanism. Universe? And, here we go again with the stars.
We are talking about the collective consciousness. We believe that we are good, compassionate, and so on. We believe us to have grown out of the dark ages, we believe us to be better, things such as slavery should be long gone. However, are we really? Is the situation today a modern yoke? Homelessness is now a fashion statement?
First provocative thought – what if this is a call that we must return to nature? The man used to sleep under the stars. Did you know that the plague first started when we put the roof up over our heads on houses and hid the light from the sun, the stars and the moon? ‘’Prior to a roof’’ plague was not known to the human race. Windows are not enough. It is necessary to enjoy the light – we are part of nature. Cows are not purple and do not have a Milka sign written on them as today in modern society children have been known to draw them.
Compassion. Are we truly compassionate? Homeless person is called a bum. Most people are not interested in his story, why he ended up on the sidewalk. Somehow I doubt that this is the pinnacle of his career or even a goal. Do we help? Or do we turn away, walk past him?
We are disgusted by Hollywood divas who wear fur. We feel sorry for defenseless baby seals, which are skinned alive. Yet, not at all aware of the eyes that died in a terrible agony, so they may be on our plate. When our puppy gets a cold, it would seem we are almost more stressed than the ill animal.
Man has always eaten meat, true. But, a cow lived a life. How do we generally treat animals today? Would you like some pictures? I have images of torture in abundance … it would turned the stomach of a stone, not just humans. Even some videos with breaking-yourheart crying is available. Saying: ”this is not happening in our country ” is the biggest cretinism and excuse. We are a part of the world. Everything that happens in the world is happening also here. We don’t slaughter the dolphins because we do not have them, but we’re slaughtering animals for food/industry purpose in a inhumane way (verified). No demand, no services. As simple as that.
There is crime, drugs, violence as everywhere in the world. We polished the skill of ”keep your mouth shut, make yourself blind and it will go away ”. If you were a child whom someone does force, right this moment, imagine … can you just close your eyes and it does not exist? Or can a piglet, being put on a stick, still alive and sentient, just turn of the pain?
Each of us is responsible for what is acceptable to us. Each of us is part of a whole.
Collective consciousness. What about COLLECTIVE DIGNITY .. Respect, Love?
Focus your energy flow to peace, harmony and compassion for all living beings, even for a tinny ant. Everything in this world has its place and its purpose Native Americans are offensivly called savages, but we all know that they were grateful for life. Today, modern man – is grateful for the iPod.
